Click here to download a curriculum map I created of the 2nd grade FL Sunshine State Standards for Reading/Language Arts with CAFE Strategies and Chapter references from these two books included. I made this to help myself find mini lessons more easily throughout the year. So far it is really helping me with my lesson planning. Click here to download headers for a CAFE (FACE) bulletin board - these are meant to be trimmed and mounted on black construction paper. (See photos below) I decided to change CAFE to FACE because I feel the concept of a "Cafe" is not very meaningful to my students. The first week of school, we will make self portraits showing ourselves as readers to post around the board. [face.doc]
