The Daily 5: Mini Lessons

Although I am using Daily 5 and CAFE to structure my reading block, I will be pulling my mini-lessons from these two books:

On this page, I will post read aloud ideas and correlating lessons from the books pictured above.

This is a work in progress - I have recently rearranged this page. I am leaving the lesson plans for Aug/Sept but there probably won't be any more for future months because I am just not going to be able to keep up with this. Instead I hope to list a lesson from Growing Readers (GR) or Reading with Meaning (RWM) to go along with each of the picture books listed here. I have also broken this down into several pages because it was just getting too long! Please note these books are not listed in any particular order at the moment (although I have tried to group them somewhat). Maybe sometime in the future I will rearrange them in order.
