Here are a few themes I often address when selecting books for Literacy units. A few notes about my downloadable Literacy materials:

1. 1.I create all my own materials for these books
   

2. 2.Vocab/Spelling materials may include a spelling list (10 words plus a sentence), vocabulary "Picture Word" paper, crossword puzzles, and word finds. (For more information about "Picture Words" click here!)
   

3. 3.Comprehension materials may include comprehension questions at literal and higher order levels, comprehension crosswords, and sample summary paragraphs.
   

4. 4.Assessment materials may include cloze passages, FCAT style tests with multiple choice, matching, short answer, and sequencing tests (cut and paste)
   

5. 5.Not all materials are available *yet* because I need to get my scanner going - I am bad about saving stuff to disk but I do have everything saved in a file folder - bear with me!
